For some heavy pipe applications a reversing drag chain conveyor is utilized. In this application the section that the pipe is rolling on is also a flat conveyor. It operates in the opposite direction of the pushing conveyor. The result is the pipe can be rotated at a faster speed. This system can help with cooling large and thick walled pipe.
