ESG recommends utilizing the rotating disc cooling table to get below 500 F. At this point it is more economical to utilize a Drag Chain Conveyor. Heat removal is slower at this point and additional time is required. ESG utilizes a combination of the rotating disc cooler and the drag chain cooler to assure the proper exit temperature.
Our drag chain conveyors utilizes a non marking roller to move the pipe forward. For heavy, large diameter pipe, ESG utilizes a double chain pusher with a cantilevered roll to provide the forward movement.
